(开场)
Tom站在讲台旁，手里拿着一张纸，兴奋地挥舞着。其他三人围坐在一起。
Tom: Hey, guys! I have an amazing idea for the school cultural week. How about we put on an English play?
Lucy: (好奇地探头) An English play? That sounds interesting. But what kind of play should we do?
Mike: (笑着插话) Maybe something funny so everyone will laugh. Like a comedy or a farce.
Sara: (温柔地点头) Or maybe something meaningful that teaches us a lesson.
(讨论环节)
Tom: Okay, let's think about it together. What do you all want to act out?
Lucy: Well, how about a story about friendship? Something where two friends help each other overcome challenges.
Mike: (拍手叫好) Love it! And we can add some jokes in there too. Make it fun but still educational.
Sara: (认真思考后说) I like that idea. But maybe we could also include some cultural differences. You know, show how people from different countries celebrate friendship differently.
Tom: (眼睛一亮) Great point, Sara! We can make it more international. Let’s call it “Friends Across Borders.”
(分配角色)
Lucy: Alright, then who plays whom?
Tom: I’ll be Alex, the American boy who loves sports and video games.
Mike: Cool! And I’ll be Jamal, the Egyptian guy who is super into soccer and storytelling.
Sara: (微笑) I’ll play Mei, the Chinese girl who is always studying hard but secretly dreams of being an artist.
Lucy: Perfect! And I’ll be Fatima, the friendly Moroccan neighbor who loves cooking and sharing food with everyone.
(排练开始)
四人开始排练他们的对话。
Alex: Hi, Jamal! Did you hear about the big soccer match this weekend?
Jamal: (兴奋地站起来) Of course! It’s going to be epic. My uncle says he has tickets. Want to come over for dinner first?
Fatima: (端着盘子走进来) Hi, Alex! Jamal told me you’re new here. Welcome to our neighborhood! Have some baklava.
Mei: (从书堆里抬起头）Hey, everyone. Are you talking about soccer again?
Alex: (挠头笑) Sorry, Mei. I guess I talk too much about sports.
Mei: (轻轻一笑) No problem. At least you’re passionate about something.
(高潮部分)
突然传来敲门声，所有人的表情变得紧张。
Fatima: (开门) Oh no... it’s Mr. Hassan, the strict teacher! He’s here to check our homework.
大家慌忙收拾桌子，但发现作业本乱成一团。
Alex: (低声对其他人说) Quick, hide your books under the table!
Jamal: (急中生智) Wait! Maybe we can use this as a chance to teach him a lesson about teamwork.
他们决定分工合作，假装各自完成了作业，并向Mr. Hassan展示成果。
Mr. Hassan: (惊讶地看着他们) This is impressive work. How did you manage to finish all this in one night?
Everyone: (异口同声) Teamwork makes the dream work!
(结尾)
Mr. Hassan笑着离开，四人相视而笑。
Lucy: (总结) So, even though we had different backgrounds, working together made everything possible.
Mike: (调皮地眨眼) And remember, never underestimate the power of baklava!
全场爆发出笑声，幕布缓缓落下。
